Darren Lehmann is a former Australian cricketer, former coach of the Australian cricket team and current coach of the Brisbane Heat BBL team. Lehmann made his ODI debut in 1996 and Test debut in 1998. Following his playing career, Darren became the coach of the Deccan Chargers, an Indian Premier League team, from 2009 to 2012 and currently is the coach of Kings XI Punjab IPL team. He also coached Queensland’s domestic teams, the Bulls and the Heat, during their wins in the Sheffield Shield, One Day and T20 competitions. d. In June 2013, Lehmann replaced Mickey Arthur as the coach of the Australian cricket team, only two weeks before the 2013 Ashes series. He stepped down from this role in 2018 and was signed as the Heat coach in early 2019.
